As we herald into the 50th Merdeka Anniversary, Malaysia had achieved another milestone in technological advancement for the communications and multimedia industry in the country. The latest Malaysia PDA phone by Dallab, Model DX8i was unveiled by Y.B Dato’ Seri Dr. Lim Keng Yaik, Minister of Energy, Water & Communications at Equatorial Hotel today. Dallab Sales & Marketing Sdn. Bhd. has made headway by keeping to its pledge to “makes life easier” with its sleek design blissfully co-exist with its functionality of a power packed mini Pocket PC phone. Co-developed and designed by Dallab USA, Dallab Singapore and Dallab Malaysia. Proudly it is also manufactured in Malaysia by an EMS Company SMT Technologies Sdn. Bhd. reflecting a truly momentous task to a new player.

DX8i boasts powerful Intel XScale Processor at 416Mhz and better high flash memory at 320 megabytes. Other features include a 3 mega pixels camera and a Sony cell battery with standby time of 120 hours. Better LCD graphic display Super VGA. FM Radio and good news for music lovers, too as DX8i comes complete with high fidelity acoustic stereo sound via custom made headphones and soothing speaker phone that propels crystal clear music and voice communication. And Dallab is the only brand to provide home and land warranty, no time constraint issues.


Recent awards were “Avnet Asia Award 2007” in recognitions for being the first customer in attaining the Microsoft Logo compliance for Windows Mobile Pocket PC phone and “NXP Award 2007” in recognitions of the excellent engineering skill in delivering products with NXP Low Power Wifi Chipset. Dallab proceeded to gain recognition from Intel for its innovativeness in its product and technological development for the 3rd time in a row in three consecutive years besides five record breaking feats bestowed by Malaysia Book of Records. Year 2004 – Dallab Embedded Communications Products, Year 2005 – Dallab Innovation Product Development and Year 2006 – Dallab DX8 Innovative Product in Smallest Pocket PC Phone Category.
