What is Active Sync?

Active Sync is a computer software that would synchronize the data between your computer and your DP900 PDA phone. Say for example you've downloaded some songs from the Internet through your computer and you'd like to save them into your DP900, or vice versa, you can easily connect both your DP900 and computer via the AC Y-Adapter, and use Active Sync to transfer the files.

Is Active Sync important for me?

Yes. Besides being able to transfer your files easily, Active Sync works very well as a backup tool. When both your computer and your DP900 have the same data, should either one fails and loses all your data, you can easily restore everything with ActiveSync using either one as a backup.

How do I connect my DP900 with my computer?

Why does my DP900 turns off when I try to insert my SIM card?

This happens because the SIM card holder has been opened during the act of trying to insert your SIM card. For security and safety purposes, the holder must be locked at all times in order for your phone to operate. So, once it is opened, your phone will automatically switch off.

Why does my screen go dim by itself?

Why does my phone seem to be slower after some time?

Unlike normal mobile phones, DP900 is a PDA Phone running on Microsoft's Windows Mobile Platforms. This means your DP900 can have several programs running at the same time although it seems like you're only accessing one of the programs. When too many programs run a the same time in the background, your memory will be occupied thus slowing your phone down. Stop programs which you're no longer using but still running in the background to ensure the best performance.

How do I stop my running programs?
